I want to set the background music quieter than the sound effects.

I can use "set sound volume" command but there doesnt seem to be one for music, unless im blind . This is dbc btw

any suggestions

set music volume (music number),(volume 0 - 200%)

ie: set music volume 1,100 : ` sets music 1 to 100% volume

Thanks but ive already tried this and it doesnt work using dark basic classic. I dont think its a valid command either.

this maybe because its an mp3 and not midi. havent tested this yet though.

if nothing works u can use 3d sound and just move it away

Has anyone noticed an issue when loading mp3's and using the set music volume command where the only range that seems to make an impact in the volume is between 90-100?

does set music command work with DBC? 90-100 maybe thats why it had no effect. might have a testing session me thinks

I don't own darkbasic classic. I bought darkbasic professional, complete with all the headaches that realgametools gave me. Other than the realgametools fiasco, darkbasic professional has been a very plesant experience.
