"Trader is an addictive, light hearted, stock trading game.
The goal is to increase your money into the millions, from
just buying and selling shares."

I need testers, preferably with XP to test the game and tell me what they think so far, and how it can be improved. I no that on my PC some graphics dont appear right (WIN 98SE), but I think its just me.

Very buggy at the mo, but no fatal bugs (I hope). I thank you in advance for your help.

*edited

I've downloaded tried to run it but get the error

runtime error 506 - could load image at line 1299

have you got designated paths for your files c:\ rather than just direct links to folders? If you do I need to know what folders I should have it in to use it..

Okay, now that I have played it, I have to say that this game is just plain boring for the casual gamer. I'm sure that with stock brokers this will be the #1 game of the year, but I don't think that anyone would play just because they're bored. I'm sorry, but it's just my opinion.......

I actually liked this game. It had a pretty nice layout and very simple and easy. The picture should explain my problem:

Anyway this game is perfect for the stock marketer on the go.

@Haggis Eater
Good for you son

@Penfold
After reading the first comment, I was overly happy with yours, lol! I will set targets with in the game such as time limits and handicaps.

@Zink
The info bars are meant to be like that, but if they look bad I'll probably changhe them. The other overlapping lines arent, so Ill correct them (I done this in about 5 minutes on paint btw)

Thanks for the help anyway.

the only other thing I would add is a portfolio of some sort so you can see how much you have paid for each stock..

as a unique added extra..(to stop me doing what I did to get loads of cash). would be to make a list of a few more maybe 20 or so extra companys. and have the ones that hit a -negative become bankcrupt after a set time if they haven't got out of the red.
and to be replaced with one of the other companys.

I would tell you how I found the easiest way of getting cash but I leave that to all you other people to figure it out for yourselves.

It would be nice if on the info graphs it showed where and how many shares you brought as I forgot what the shares where worth when I bought them.
