I am working on this text based game with my friend and I was thinking of some equations to use for the stats.
Strength-For HP,Attack,Defence
Stamia-For HP,SP,Turn
Condition-Determines your HP
Elements-Determines your SP
Dex-Determined Dodge Skills
Attack
+Strength
Defence
+Strength-1(It will not go below 0)
HP(Condition)
Condition*2^(sqrt(stamia))
SP(Element)
Elements*2^(sqrt(stamia))
Dex
Enemy Dex+Your Dex=Total Dex
Then you find the percent of your dex out of the total dex. Say you got 50 dex and the monster has 0 you got a 100% chance of dodgeing it. Say the monster has 50 dex. Then you got a 50% chance of dodgeing it, one more example. Say the monster got 150 dex then you got 25% chance of dodgeing the enemy.
So think my equations are cool. I think they are. I might have to add a Hit one or edit some of the dex one, but so far they feel good.
