I need a model, and Anim8or can't make it. Have you seen those driller machines in Matrix 3? I need a screw shaped drill in 3DS or Obj. You don't have to make the body, just the drill. I can't make a spiral like that. It's for a game I'm making, and the drills go through rocks.

Thanks
Pincho.

Anim8or can make screw shaped drills. Have you seen the spiral tutorials on their site?

Can I see a demo now?

-I need a model, and Anim8or can't make it

Don't you mean "The Animator" can't make it

If anim8or can create a cube and sub-d's(I know it does) it's quite easy to do so if you REALLY try...It's all about cutting down the main shapes of the object you want to make and just do it...

Lastly, don't blame the software, you could probably even end up doing it in Milkshape but then again at what time/waysaround cost?

Edit:Sounds like a rant doesn't it?Well here's what I'll do,just give me a few links to picture of the thing, and I'll do it in anim8or,unless this here inspires you to achieve it yourself.

I didn't think it was possible to make spirals in Anim8or, but I'll have a look for the tutorials.

Hey I enjoyed that tutorial. Here's the finished product. It is nothing like the tut, it's original.
