i need coke, otherwise i cant code because i just fall aslepp, the coke keeps me awake and makes me go hyper but then again i think it turned me crazy (both ways)

by the way i dunt mean cocane!

anyway, a purpose for this post, um, do u need anything (environment, stimulant etc) that allows you to code into the night (the best time to work )?

My biggest report was something about operating systems. 1200 pages.
Took me quite a long time to type all that. Then, at the end, I had to
present the whole thing in front of 3 judges who would decide if I'd pass the year or not. My team (there was 3 of us, including me) got the highest score in my class. I NEVER want to do that again.
Oh no! The judges are coming for me!!! AHHH!!!

I only stay up late to code when I need to - like when there is a DarkBasic competition, or something like that. Since there isn't one, I enjoy filling my nights with Conan O'Brien, Jerry Springer, and Final Fantasy X-2.

Nah, real programmers need lots of ciggies and pro-plus to keep going. Nothing like the Dracula impression at 8am after a 12 hour group effort to get the (usually 1 month long) assignment finished, and some nonce opens the blinds.

Personally pro-plus never seemed to do much for me (one pill is 25 cups of coffee apparently), just smoked like a complete b**tard. Always did me.

hmm... advice on staying awake from someone who's 99% probably lying in bed.

Coffee doesn't do me any good. Cold water in the face does the trick. Or mabe a really cold shower.

And coffee can work in extreme circumstances. Just doesn't taste nice without liquid.

I think I'm the only person in the world immune to caffine. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it seems to be. I drink coke a lot, and it seems to have no effect. Most nights I have a cup of coffee to help me relax and go to sleep. It's odd.

At a party I once took a couple of pro-plus, before realising everyone was going to bed - so 20 mins later I was in bed, and I passed out straight away. That could be due to the alcohol though.

So, once I tested my theory with a can of redbull before bed (for those that don't know, it's 400% your recommended daily allowance of caffine) and it did take me longer to fall asleep, but I was still out about 10 minutes after I closed my eyes. It never makes me buzz.

I wander if there is some caffine immunity condition. Most other "stimulants" effects me big style.

Signature? No! Obsolete! These days it's all about chip and pin!

If ur immune to caffeine/coke and go extreme on other stimulants it means you have very low blood pressure and caffeine raies your blood pressure to normal

lol

only 2 ppl i know have ever realised that when i say coke i mean coca cola and i told one and the other was on actual coke

im getting an imunity to coke now, 2 litres now only works, but i get it cheap and im going to go out later and buy 4 litres for 3 quid which is good

BTW im 15 in 10 days soi cant alcohol, and i dunt have the money for proper stimulants, but i find sitting in front of the TV with lots of coke (and highly sugary lemonade as back-up) watching a loing film does the trick, however, i have to buy new eyes afterwards,

BTW i prob never have to do a 300 page report, it just seems like it if u've had a bad dayt, u teacher has made u redo a long essay u spent ages on and uve still go another essay in for the next day, luckily i got an A (after perloining some help from my sisters), but after yrs 10 and 11 (im in 10) ill prob have done more than 300 pages! Anyway its the holidays so i can relax till the end (when i got to do another essay!)

finally, i was surprised by the no. of ppl that replied to this post! (oh and look at the hamsters, they're on coke )
