just wondered if anyone has looked into a loading screen ie with a load bar.

Ive got a load of graphics but dont want all of them loaded at the begining, just the ones needed for each stage.

Ive got an idea how to do it but im sure it could be automated in a better way.

suggestions welcome

Nothing new, it has been addressed several times. Things to do: turn auto cam off (keeps the camera from jumping when you load 3D objects): using load image, paste image, and sync to display your splash page: display a box or loaded graphic at select points in your loading code and sync: clear the screen and display your game when done.
