It may help you with the theory of 3D programming, but there really isn't a way that it'll help a DB coder. I recommend not to buy it unless you're getting into Directx.

Probably not. DarkBasic hides the complexities of DirectX, and lets you concentrate on the game content.

[edit] see, my missus collars me for one of her "minutes" to hassle me about painting the bedroom, and 2 people reply before me!
