Well, actually, in my language (dutch) it's (from the dictionary) a little earthman, something like a dwarf. I think kabouters only exist in fairy-tales

So, what's the correct pronumciation of kabouter then? ka-baw-tr or ka-bu-tr or ka-bo-u-tr? I hope it's the second one...

Lol, with such a name, I always thought you were from the Netherlands or from Belgium ... seeing you as a dwarf.

So you don't know the kabouterdans ?

Here it's in the dictionary:

r_kabouter: A rare breed of annoying organisms that habitat internet forums and chat rooms. r_kabouters are very determined to get attention and enjoy mostly talking about thier name...

EDIT: hehe...I hope you see i'm joking...and you aren't annoying

Lol, Magellan Studios, maybe you are right. For it's the theme of a children-programm on TV around here.

But even adults dance on that song on parties here ... so we all need help

Quote: "Iedereen goed opgelet

Kom Kwebbeltje
Ik zal is iets zeggen he Lui
Jij mag straks met mij dansen
Daar gaan we

Zeg Kwebbeltje
Ja dat is normaal he
Ah ja he

Jullie dansen echt heel mooi
Ploppetjes geloof me maar
Daarom doen we t nog een keer
Nu 3x na elkaar

Draai een keer in het rond
Stamp met je voeten op de grond
Zwaai je armen in de lucht
Ga nu zitten met een zucht
Stap nu rond als een gans
Zo gaat de kabouterdans
"

OMG, there's even a gay song about it... I can't read that, whatever language it is, so I can't sing along. haha.

I'm downloading the song off iMesh. This i HAVE to hear.

edit: Got it. Found it off a website, but I'm not sure if it's legal so I'm not posting a link. It is scarily catchy, even if I can't follow the lyrics... Can someone translate it, if it's not too much trouble?

I can't tell you how accurate this is because I have no idea what it says, but here is a translation coutersy of Babel Fish:

Quote: "Iedereen well paid attention because this is you large chance lustre well after what I say because here the gnome dancing comes each boy chooses now firstly a gnome little girl from takes its fixed at the hand and do a step ahead Bowl Kwebbeltje gives me but a hand Oh yes klus He says I wants with kwebbel dance Ah no says I was firstly zoek you but a another gnome little girl but here is none other kaboutermeisjes I something to say he lazy you can dance soon with me to go there we Turn a time in around stamp with your feet on the ground sways you poor in air goes around now to sit with a sigh step now if a goose goes this way the gnome dancing Bowl lazy you can dance now with me dancing dancing I become with that this way tired I no longer dance I will sleep Yes that went already reuze well but we are still long not ready we do simply that dancing again but 2x after each other Turn a time in around step with your feet on the ground sways you poor in air goes around now to sit with a sigh stamp now if a goose goes this way the gnome dancing Do not say Kwebbeltje find you that I can dance nicely yes that am normal he Ah yes he I am as it were the best dancer of very the gnome village You dance really complete beautiful Ploppetjes belief me but for this reason we do t again now 3x after each other Turn a time in around stamp with your feet on the ground sways you poor in air goes around now to sit with a sigh step now if a goose goes this way the gnome dancing

"

It talks about gnomes and stuff so it can't be far off.

Here is the link if you want to try it yourself: Babel Fish
