I am after a quiter life in my bedroom as my PC sounds like a jet taking off. Just ordered a heatsink-pipe thingy to replace fan on GeForce4 Ti4600 card as that is what is making the most noise by far in my case, but was wondering if you noticed if drive is as quiet as everyone says."
My computer isn't all that quiet, but that's because of the CD-ROM drives, which are very loud. Even when they're both empty, however, I can hardly tell when the hard drive stops/starts spinning, and if there's music/sound playing, I can't tell at all. I certainly couldn't vouch on it being among the quietest made, but it's the quietest one I've ever used!

Yikes, sorry 'bout that. I got a new case+PSU when I brought my PC in for repairs (not free of course
) and the case fan and PSU are very quiet. It's just the CD-ROM drives that are the monsters. Yet another reason to make virtual CDs of everything.

Yeah, but you can start practice driving at 15 1/2 here, and besides that, it's 1 year closer to the other important ones
.

I was under the impression it was 14 in several, but a very small percentage of, countries (take Germany), and 12 in I think only one or two. Do you actually live in one of them?
