DarkMATTER would actually be better for use with DB, the T3DGM ones are not royalty free and are geared up for T3DGM whereas the DarkMATTER models are all royalty free and designed for DB.

yeah, but if i want to make games i must learn it,
t3dgm is a basic point-and-click gamemaker where i can learn the basic ground of making a game,
If i use DB i shall not know what to do,
I hope i can find somewhere t3dgm models,

I read ww2media, can i imput those files in my game ?

Ahh, well DarkMATTER 1 models can be used in T3DGM - in fact any .X models can - although DarkMATTER models would be nicely setup for T3DGM, you might have trouble with your own, or third part models - setting up and orientation is something T3DGM might not let you play around with. Most of the weapons you'd find will work nicely, but characters are most likely useless because of the dated animation system in T3DGM - not dated for it's time but dated now.
T3DGM uses limb hierarchy animation (makes your character resemble an action figure with it's seperate limbs), but DX and DBPro now support mesh deformation animation (more professional invisible skeleton that deforms the mesh to suit). Limb hierarchy models are still used a great deal, because they're nice and easy to setup and animate - but you'll struggle to find decent quality limb hierarchy models anywhere but DarkMATTER.

I would recommend you wait a couple of months though - FPSC is comming soon and is a bit like T3DGM, but turbo-charged and for making games like Unreal Tournament - still no real programming involved but if you do get into coding your own games you can apparantly use FPSC to help with levels (levels are a major headache for us). FPSC could be hugely popular with the mod community - in which case we'll have more free character and weapon models comming out for it than we know what to do with . There's some details in the most recent newsletters.

Ahh, should have really cleared that up. DarkMATTER is simply a collection of models for using in your DB and T3DGM games. I think theres a little browser thing supplied with it, but really you'd stick all the models in the right places in the T3DGM folder and then access them from inside T3DGM.

Umm, well, real game programming is alot of programming- yes, sometimes there is click-to-create but sometimes and most of the time there isn't. So, let me just say this- T3DGM will not even be aa good tool to learn to make games!

I got darkmatter free with my purchase of darkbasic classic. When you upload them into the program and they are tiny, just use the scale object command to make them large...
edit:Woops, hehe, I see that you dont have darkbasic you have gamecreator. Yes I must say that gamecreator is a waste of time and money... Go with the code!

Don't waste money on T3DGM. It sucks. You won't learn any basics of game making with it. It just sucks. Sucks, sucks, sucks...

Unless your a two year old and can just manage to click the mouse on the 'magic game' button. My brother made a game with one click. Genius.

Edited due to spelling mistake my brother made, cant trust a 2 year old these days.
