I had all sorts of problems when I first got my Netgear DG824M ADSL modem/router/firewall thingy. It would constantly disconnect and never reconnect. It took Netgear about 5 updates before they finally got it right. In fact I even sent the thing back to dabs because Netgear and I thought it was a faulty unit. Got replacement and did same thing. I was livid! Netgear blamed BT for being a 'non-standard ISP' LOL! I'm happy now coz everything peachy.
Netgear also farm their support to India which is very hard work when trying to explain tech stuff on the phone and they haven't got a clue what you are talking about. They end of just saying stupid stuff like 'have you tried turning it off and on' or 'do a factory reset and reload software'.
