Hello there,
I know that this is probably not the best place
to ask this but I have no were else to ask it
(I can't log the Jasc forums, and the reseler doesn't respond :\)

Well my problem is that I made a website design in PSP
and I dont know how to convert it to a website. I will explain,
I tried to use Image Slicer and Image Mapper but there are problems
The image mapper can make the links to button but all the other
space is a picture and I can't add text, code ect. The image maper is a bit
better but it duplicate the design example

Here is the design
How do I make from it a website?

P.S
There is the same thread in 2D that I open
and I asked to move it here but after 3 days there was no respond
so I opened it again (if you can delete the other one in 2D).

Save the image pieces seperatly and stitch them together in a website maker such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage and you're set . PSP 8 itself isn't very good for trying to make HTML .

Nice start but first things first PSP will not add code to your web page it will however make it possible to have rollover images when the mouse hovers or clicks the button. Secondly, good luck I've tried making a web page with it and it got way to confusing because you basically have to develop a map of the links (treeview categorizing), and it is possible to export the image(s) to html.

Here are the very time consuming tasks:

First map out the main webpage with the image slicer and click "Save Settings"
rem this will save the settings so you do not have to map out each image every time.
Second set all the rollover affects you want for the individual images
Third and this is very important you need to have the web addresses for your webpage figured out before hand.
Example ( I will put extra spaces down to show different section)

This will be your main web page (not real web page)
http:\dbprules.universe.net
this is where all the main links will be
You need to know for the links before they are made where they will go
link1 will lead to http:\dbprules.universe.netlink1main.htm
yadda yadda yadda
untill all the links for the first page are complete then click save settings

After this is done you will have to click "save as" this will save it as html with a folder in the same directory for all the sliced images.
Fourthly you have to do this exact same thing to each individual page of your website (the settings can be loaded for each webpage which cuts the time down a little).
then you have to make sure that you have the correct domain name or web sponser for all the links, and make sure you have the rights to upload to that location.

If I were you...give up if you want to use PaintShopPro. Their are better ways than that to make web pages, and I am talking through experience.

And thier are better uses for PSP than the main web page design, and PSP is my favorite image editor so I am speaking the truth in that it is very hard to make web pages with PSP.

Thank you for the help
but I still need a way to convert my design
into a website (a simple way will be better )
any other programs I should use?

I may not know the address of my website yet
but since I know html I don't think it will be
a problem to write www.jasc.com in every link
and edit it later right?

I use website mentor. go to my site and theres a link at the bottom of the page. Its extremely easy to use, though a tad limited. You can alter the finished HTML code though, thats quite easy.

now I know this has nothing to do with any of the above, but theres this song that one of my friends made about another one of my other friends and it cracks me up! If anyone checks it out then you should know that Mr.Pott is a bit of a funny person in many ways.

website mentor is a very nice program but its not what Im looking for.
In this program you choose your design from a list
and Im doing my own design and since I didn't see any adding
design option this is not good for me.
