I think Rich tried to fix the annoying little money grubber filter. NOPE, still broken.

I think Rich took the website down so that C-M-C and his lovers (Harry Mammoth Gamez and xXx-Interactive) would think that the DarkBasic forum was broken for good - and they would never ever come back!

Actually it went down at the exact same time I was editing a post in a forum at the same time a mod was locking it. But I don't know if that is what caused it. Probably coincidence.

It wasn't. MySQL restarted itself (like it does sometimes when load gets high) and a table had to be repaired before the forum came back to life. Nothing major.

Since when did a MySQL reset turn into "the site was hacked" ???!

Gotta love the imagination of some of the people here (*cough* Brogo *cough*)

Someone said "attacked", and someone said "hacked?" So i guessed that attacked meant hacked.

Yes, it was definitely attacked. 3 guys and a woman who wants to be a guy, clad in balaclavas, broke into the TGC secure compound. They proceeded to unleash the chickens that pedal the bikes that power the generator that swallowed the fly (I don't know why). Once the chickens escaped, it was only a matter of time before they tracked down the PHPmyAdmin page in the favourites on Rich's machine, and changed a few of the configuration records.

And that's why the site went down. It's official, I heard some guy who knew someone who once MSN'ed Rich talking about it.
