It took me over a month but I finally finished the conversion of the important video tapes in my library to digital. I ended up with 52 CDs which include a personalized 5 disc set about the GULF war.
I am sad because COMPUSA doesn't carry the 99 minute (850MB) CD-Rs any more! The 800 MB 90 minute discs are OK, but there are still a few movies 95-99 minutes long that won't fit on a 92 minute (with overburning) VCD.
I just created
this web page that points to a few short but interesting video clips. If they impress you, save the videos and redistribute them. The largest of them will fit on a floppy with 7K to spare if zipped.
The BACK link on the page points to another very interesting video snippet of a magic vanishing trick.
Peace, the anti-Bush.
