Ok, I've read a little bit about some of the following topics on the forums, but the info wasn't too clear. Could someone please explain;
What the heck is BSP? How does it work with DBpro? What is the BSP compiler that comes with DBpro?
What are sprites?
Any answers will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

BSP, binary space partition

a maths file based on collision zones pre rendered so any pc
running the 3d map can read from the file without heavy cpu processing since its all precalcualted.

sprites:

objects that are usually 2d and are designed to be able to move around the screen quickly with minimal effort.

at one stage they were called bobs. blitter objects.
