I cannot believe it... but DarkBasic seems to lack the possibility of having powers....
For example , if I want to calculate the result of 2^8 (wich is 256, by the way) , I cannot !!! Nor are logarythms anywhere to be seen !!!
The only Math function I found is Exp().
This function has just one parameter, so it cannot be used for powers... it gives the result of Neper's number (about 2.7) to the power of the parameter... totally unuseful if alone.
When used in conjunction with natural (neperian) base logarythms , it can be used for powers, as it happens in Pascal. But alone it is unuseful.
How am I supposed to calculate powers in DB ?
