I think TGC should bring the 20 line challenge back, but I don't think that they should have to award prizes. It would, however, still be nice if they announced a winner in the newsletter. I'm sure that most people would find having a moment of glory in the newsletter enough reason to take part in the challenge. TGC can't be expected to provide prizes, but a few lines in the newsletter announcing the winner is a big enough prize itself.

i second it

when i hed win 98 i used to use the DIV games studio for games programming before i got DBPro and they had competions on a regular basis.

if u goto [href]www.div-arena.com[/href] u can have a look at the competitions thet they ran and are running. the only downside is u need win 95, 98 or ME to play em unless u got an old dos based PC.

there are some good games on there and i suppose u could port em to DB with a bit of time. its just as easy to understand the code.

i'd lve to try a 20 liner and attempt to win summat superb for here.

(just upgraded) system specs: AMD XP 3000+, 512Mb DDR333, nvidia ge-force FX 5600 128MB, 1x8Gb & 1x40Gb HHD, 52x CD drive, DVD+RW 4x, Sound Blaster 128.... all in a Nokia 8310 case :0D
