It's a looooong story...here we go:
My last PC was a Pentium I 133 Mhz, it worked really good and didn't got any problem with it. Once I upgraded to my Pentium II, the problems started. My dad has 3 cards, one is a Trident 9600 4Mb, a Virge (can't remember model) and a SiS 6326 HW Accelerated. With the Trident 9600 I have the same problem, the Virge has problems when it's installed (device problems, the some devices malfunction and others doesn't are detected) and currently I have the SiS 6326. My motherboard doesn't have any onboard video card that I know (I don't know too much about hardware). The problems that make my PC restart are...
1) Starcraft videos
2) Diablo II in full screen
3) Wireframe in DB, DBPro and 3DSMAX 3 using the Direct 3D Driver
4) C++ example programs of Direct 3D (the wireframe examples)
5) PSX videos in Bleem! (strangely not in other emulators)
6) Macromedia Fireworks (don't know, but it make it restart
Well, these are all the problems I can think of right now, and I played starcraft before in my last PC (the Pentium I) and that didn't happened, so I'm sure it's my motherboard...unless it's the RAM memory...but my dad doesn't have any other spare RAM's that can be used by my PC.
/edit: With DXDiag everything is fine, except because my 3D card doesn't support DX9 (I have it installed, and with DX8 or 7 it restarts anyway, so I don't think it's the DX version) and because of that it can't do the DX9 tests, but the first 2 tests of Direct 3D pass succesfully.
