3 Dimensional Chat / Problem with alpha maps

Ok, i'm a first time visitor, but have had darkbasic for a while via christmas. I'm using Milkshape 1.7.0 to create my objects and am trying to make trees, bushes, etc. My problem is that my darkbasic either continues to show the white background of the leaves, or everyother face is removed from sight. any ideas on how to fix this?

i'll also be checking the Milkshape forums to see if the problem lies within milkshape, but any answer here would be great

I think that the background of the image must be RGB(0,0,0), which is black. The set object command must be used to set the transparency features of textures. Look it up in the help files.

thx bunches, i got it to work but after multiplying it. heres the code



now the original object continued to show with white background (even though the BG is black) but the second object, the mesh, did show as transparancy. simply i'll make numerous copies and just delete the origanal making for some nice foilage
