Is it posibble to select or manipulate in some way a given vertice, endge, or polygon in DBPro or would a external dll have to be made for this and if so does anyone now of a similar one for doing this?

You'll want to learn how to manipulate memblocks.

For an example, look in the codebase for Preston Chaderton's mesh manipulation library.

Hopefully you'll learn a thing or two.

Also check out Kevil's landscape of memblocks and all the other examples in the memblock section.
