My model looks really crappy after exporting it into gamespace lite...it was modeled in 3d canvas. It looks good in canvas but some edges look wrong in gamespace lite. I think it might be the lite's or I might need to apply Gs lite's smoothing thingy(? if it has one)
Please...

p.s I cant load picks cause ftp clients are busted or screwy so ...is there another way...

You can always load the images to a free site like Geocities, create a small html file to display the images, post the URL here, and use the http:// button in the editor to make that an active link. That way the read only has to click on the link to see your problem with no cut-n-pasting hassle.

Ok here are some pics this is the GS lite one...

here is the 3d canvas screen

Also, my model is low poly...250 polygons and 127 vertices. Hope this helps....

i am not that familiar with gslite but it looks like the smoothing between planes is just off, or reduced. maybe the polys on the ends of the sholder and top of the head are seperated from the rest of the body, if this is the case the points will just need to be merged together. just trying to think of problems i have had in the past. good luck

1.) Different camera angles make it look jaggy or smooth.
2.) The lighting is different.(Darker lighting can sometimes make models look smoother than bright white light, or vice versa.)
3.) The render settings are different.(Thus not giving you the high quality you want.)

Those are three things to look at. I really don't think it's gamespace causing the problem.

it doesnt appear in gmax nor canvas....I'm going to start from scratch...in GS lite

Ok...I discovered that it has to do with the way in which the model is being smoothed or creased....cause when I used the smoothing operation in GS lite it solved the problem...only problem is...that its a sub layer function (or something) which knocks your poly count for a six....is there a way that I can smooth it without the poly count rising....please help....
