Okay, for a couple of effects in my game, I need to be able to change the vertex normals of the models. You know, for dodgy lighting hacks and all that! Well, and a clever (by my standards) vertex shader too.

I know that I can edit the normals in a text-based .x file but, for large models, that could get confusing! So, does anybody know a stand-alone program or, preferably, a plug-in for 3DSMax that could help me on my way?
