hehe yeah, as the title says. Because I want to make some gamma effects in my games in DBC but I don't know if all the 3D cards support them (from a SiS 6326 8 Mb to the lastest 3D card).

They support it?

most of them do. Just add the gamma effects and put "requires videocard that supports gamma changes" in the readme

Most do. I've put a demo up with Gamma changes, and I didn't get a single report of it not working.

DirectX falls back on software gamma when hardware gamma fails; hardware gamma only is really useful when your playing back system intensive movies like high-resolution dvd or mpeg.
Usally if your system is faster than 400MHz then the difference in speed is neglegable;

so in an answer, no but it doesn't matter if they do or don't as DirectX does.

Ok, so most of them support gamma changes, and when they doesn't support it, DirectX does it in software mode right?, if this is right, this does applies for DBC games too?

Thanks for answering guys
