This is a simulation of a person walking in the middle of a snow storm. Tell me what you think of it.

8-24fps on my 5900XT

And here's your problems:
set object collision to polygons 30000
make object sphere 30001,150

you dont need polygon collision for boxes. and the spheres? just make plains with a circle textured to them.

I meant what are you using a skybox for? You shouldn't have collision on a skybox. You saying all those snow flakes are sky spheres?

You saying that all those snow blocks on the ground are skyboxes?
You should only have 1 skybox. And that skybox should be impossible to collide with.

Try using textured planes that look like snow flakes

Hi MrNick, i thought your snowcode would be useful in my new game Snow Island, http://www.snow-island.cjb.com

I have put your name in the credits for creating the snow, so all credit goes to you.

Heres a screenshot of it in action:
