i'm makeing a prgram in DbPro and I dont know how to make an icon.
I need it to contain the us army rangers insigna. I don't have any screenshot because i'm trying to get all my media before i start the programming. if anyone gets one plese post it here or e-mail it to me at <nthomas117@charter.net> thanks in advance for the help

A Google search for "create icon" would be a good place to start.

At google look for pixle toolbox that is a great program to create icons,cursors, and patterns. Or take the easy way and change the extension of a .bmp to .ico and you got an icon, but changing the extension trick does not work all the time when loading into programs.

I have found QTam's Bitmap to Icon to be extremely usefull. Its a drag and drop converter that can do tranperencies and everything automaticaly.

free icon maker you can use paint like tools or import images to use automaticaly as icons has a good amount of options and is free.

i use iconforge4 found free on a pc magazine ages ago.
makes all the icon bit sizes and works a treat for me.

hes already got a solution, I was just adding an alternative method in case someone else stumbles across this post.
