I've been able to port over the movement and level systems of BBFX. I changed the level system to use BSPs. I'm having trouble loading objects so I'm kinda at a stand still till the next patch gets out. Soon as that comes out though I hope I'll be able to start extensive work on my DBPro remake of Caught in the Crossfire.

its quite easy to create a basic FPS in dbpro. The real problem you'll come up against is trying to devise some sort of entity system for controling/monitoring the actions of the objects that are on the screen.

froubot: What exactly do you mean by that? Is it difficult in DBPro to assign actions to entities--monsters, doors, vehicles, etc.?

DBPro is built for maximum diversity of games, therefore, even rudemintary AI has been left out. The best plan of attack is to either create your own functions you can assign to any object in DBP or find someone who already has.
