This is the first human I have done from nothing but refrence pictures. I'm quite proud of it, but I know it needs adjustments. Plese give crit












2143 polys, I did it in about 12 hours altogether

Its hard to really see it from those small smoothed shots. Can we see some wires? The torso is way to long.

Just what I was thinking of. His ears are kind of elvish. Well, my only crits would be that he has some pretty short legs compared to his upper body. Besides that, good job!

lol, thx for the feedback, I made the legs longer and shrunk the stomach. Now onto texturing

It would render better if you can find a way to smooth out the normals. Some modeling programs will do it for you.

Its not bad for firsth human, in fact its preaty good

...the bigest problem I see is place where arms are going to torso, you can see it in front but mainly in back view. Eighter he is heavily muscled there (but then should be on rest of his body too, which is not) or his body is strangely deformed there.

Whats a good poly for an ingame human model of the main character? I am working on my first model too and I got mine roughly finished at 1569 polys acourding to milkshape and might cut it by 100 but is that low medium or high still? Oh and nice model btw but his eyes scare me.
