i'm trying to get animated models in my game . all the models are ready exept the fact that i cant get them move in darkbasic !!

problem: how to get animated models from 3dsmax to darkbasic???

i'm sure its possible because i seen MODELS THAT ARE MOVING in darkbasic so there must be a way , even if its hard, even if its long , even if i must crawl under a sea of poisonous snakes with nuclear mines , traps and snipers , i'll do it with pleasure ,
.

could sombody just explain me HOW to get animated files from max to db ?? i know there is hope !

A program is sensed to be a conventional mean to give orders to a computer and not being obscure, weird, and full of traps ,that is closer to magic stuff (Dave Small).

At the options of Pandasoft X Exporter, "Include Animation(Must have keyframes)" or something... must be checked, if you're no using bones, then you mustn't check the "Bones" or something... and i recommend to use binary instead of text (at the animation tab or something...)

I hope that'll work...

I don't like the gameplay of FFX-2...(ZOE2 is better) But I do like Rikku a lot! (I posted 4 fanarts in Rpgfan)

panda does not read biped.

export as fbx, and reimport as fbx--> biped converted to bones.Only see it working in Max 6.

DO put at least to keyframes in to spearate frames.

you may need to play a bit trial and error with the DX options tab in the exporter dialog.

Do random settings tries till u get what the hell is making it fail. It works.

Because Froggermon,
I have yet to see one of those "countless" posts work for for Max animations with Panda.

It would be better if you help him, rather send him on a wild goose chase.
