Just recently you have locked the thread entitled "The next windows operating system codenamed "Longhorn"". I cannot see a valid reason why it should've been locked.

The thread that was locked address is
http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=33545&b=2

The thread did have purpose unlike some of the other threads.
To name a few:
"Are their any girls here"
"Gone for a week =)"
"Post a link to your Wallpaper!"
"Budweiser Grannies! LOL!"
"Anyone A Drummer?"
None of which have been locked, and I do not mean for you to lock them
Meaning no offense to the threads developer

The thread was not at all controversial.

And I was trying to get others views on the topic

Could you tell me the real reason why you closed the post.

And to answer the question that was asked on that thread "And where have you been for the last few years?". I have been on earth for the past few years and knew about Longhorn since a year or two ago when I saw it in a PCWorld. Since I have just joined the forums recently and just got the idea of asking this question, I asked it.

Probably because it's been posted before. Do a search of this forum for 'Longhorn' and you'll find all the info you need.

That makes sense, if that is the case than I can understand why he locked it. I should have looked before I posted.

The thread was going to desend into chaos, plus it had been mentioned before, everyone has heard of Longhorn, and knows what it might be capable of.

What is Longhorn?

Is he related to Smallfoot or Dances with Wolves?

j/k sorry.

Uggghhh. I just made myself think of Kevin Costner.

You call that a search? You can search by title only--- which doesn't really get us anywhere with subjects like "Check this out" or "This rulezzz!!ZZZ@!" etc. etc.

I can understand when Moderators post stuff like this, but when I posted this complaint I did not look at who posted it, just the overall talk and subject matter.

And another question that I was wondoring was "How do users become Mods?". That question has been pulling at me for the past 2 months.

Fine I will live with it, and let this thread drop. Or let someone lock it, either way.
