Sadly I'm not a producer, so I can't make design decisions.
Walaber - Yes, I work in the Vancouver office. It used to be Blackbox Games and they were bought out by EA. There's another EA office about 15 minutes away that makes FIFA, Fight Night, Def Jam, Bond, etc. etc., called EA Canada.
MikeS - Thanks for the link! I'd submitted that screenie about a month ago and didn't realize it had been put up
NHL 2005 is the reason my work on WordTrix is taking forever.
TheAbomb12 - Yes, WordTris was made in DBP, and WordTrix 2.0 is being made in C++. I see DBP as a great tool for prototyping game ideas. You could spend all this time working in C++ on a game just to have it not feel right, then you've pretty much wasted your time (unless you've learned something, in which it's never a waste).
