Feeling pretty good now that our game is up on the web. Check it out if you have a few free minutes.

Also check out our new cover athlete. He's a Canuck, what more can I say?

It's not often that I can brag so I'll do it now and forever hold my tongue from here on in.

Yeah, Markus Naslund is one of the best players on the Vancouver Canucks NHL team. Ever watch hockey?

EDIT: Oh yeah, you're from the UK. I wouldn't expect you to be a fan, then :-P

Well, you would think someone working for a "big" game company would gloat it more often.

Jeku, I love hockey, but have been somewhat disappointed with NHL 2004 because i would like there to be a *occaisonal* bech clearing brawl in-game. I know this would be hard, but it would be more realistic for rivalry games.

There's no problem so large it can't be solved by killing the user off, deleting their files, closing their account and reporting their REAL earnings to the IRS.

My favorite team is the flyers. Even though they dropped out on their last game

You work on NHL 2005??

I play 2004 all the time, the only thing i can request from you is a BETTER fighting system.

As for favorite team, Flyers by far.

<-- Columbus Blue Jackets Fan (Hey, stop laughing!)

Yeah, bench clearings would be pretty cool, although EA might be trying to keep that E rating.

Keep up the good work with your project Jeku.

Sadly I'm not a producer, so I can't make design decisions.

Walaber - Yes, I work in the Vancouver office. It used to be Blackbox Games and they were bought out by EA. There's another EA office about 15 minutes away that makes FIFA, Fight Night, Def Jam, Bond, etc. etc., called EA Canada.

MikeS - Thanks for the link! I'd submitted that screenie about a month ago and didn't realize it had been put up NHL 2005 is the reason my work on WordTrix is taking forever.

TheAbomb12 - Yes, WordTris was made in DBP, and WordTrix 2.0 is being made in C++. I see DBP as a great tool for prototyping game ideas. You could spend all this time working in C++ on a game just to have it not feel right, then you've pretty much wasted your time (unless you've learned something, in which it's never a waste).
