I think the helmet needs to be taller, but apart from that, great work

Looks great, good job. One thing though, you will probably see right through the helmet in DB because the bottom of the rim appears to be backfaces. If you turn backfaces off in your preview screen in ms you'll se what I mean.

yeah I noticed this, but I cant seem to figure out how to make it so that there are no backfaces, if I were to reverse the vertex order of all those faces then the other side of the helmet (the outside) would be the same way, unless there is someway to fix all that. By the way I did a bit more work on him today and am close to completing the body, I just need the hands...

He might not be historically accurate but then again I dont have any reference material, I am just going by what I remember in saving private Ryan, and call of duty lol.

I think it roughly translates to "what's up? Where are the smurfs?"

Looking good. To fix the backface problem, you could make those triangles again (overtop of the existing ones) and reverse then so that they are showing downwards. It looks really bad in the preview if you have the show backfaces option on but once its in db or that option is off it doesn't look bad any more.(just a note, this probably isn't the best solution but it works)
