If yes post what your good at and other info on your skills. If you need a modeller take a look at the post to see if there is someone to fit your needs.
I'll start of with mine.
Please follow this style.

Name: Jason Lovett

Age: 15

Software in use: Maya 5 complete

Description: I am a realitive beginner at modeling, becuase i've only been modelling for 3-6 months, I prefer modeling becuase you have general control over the object looks aposed to programming becuase that takes alot more problem solving and you have to be able to type quick which is not my strong point, and you have to be accurate aswell as quick.

Prefered object types to model: I prefer to model things like cars and other vehicles but they are low polygon not high.

I hope this will make life easier for modeller and anyone who needs a modeller.

ps. You might want to add images of your work so people can see your previous work.

thanx

Software in use: DoGA CGA, Metasequoia, Milkshape 3D, and assorted other tools.

Description: I've been modelling off and on for a few years. Generally, I prefer to help people learn to use DoGA CGA and I offer advice, additional parts libraries, custom parts, as well as some limited (via Babelfish) translations of the help files.

Prefered object types to model: DoGA CGA is really mecha oriented which matches my preference for starships, fighters, giant robots, powered armor, and other gizmos.

@ RPGamer - I know that most under 18 or 16 would not have a legal version of 3K software but if i were to sell i would buy the licenced version first.

GameMaker Jason, there's no such thing as 3k software when if you're a student. You can buy licenses for cheap.

I'm talking dirt cheap too, compared to the regular prices, if you qualify.

http://www.alias.com/eng/education/promotions.shtml

There's absolutly no reason to pirate software in this day and age.

You want Maya?
Use the free learning edition.

You don't want the learning edition?
Cough up $700 if you're a student, otherwise get a job.

You want to use 3DS Max?
Use GMax free.

You don't want Gmax?
Cough up $500 for a student license, otherwise get a job.

If your talking about pirating software just to use until you sell something, go steal a Porche and drive it around a bit. I doubt they would mind Same thing in a nutshell...

Try FX Realms Creator Creator Pro. It's as easy as DoGA but is used to make meshes of people and assorted humanoids.

Ooo! Actarus Im in need of a modeler/animator/texturer... basicly you in a nutshell.

I'm looking for some1 to do humanoids, mainly middle earthish RPG Characters/NPCs. Nothing of great detail, except mabey the main characters, just low poly extras like a shopkeeper, peasants, and bad guys. Unless you want to do the main characters then it will be more detailed.

If your intersested check out my website for more info.

Mindstorm:Regarding your request for 3D models,I cannot commit to a project for the time being but I'll see what I can do for that Kara model.

That said, you've got a very nice looking engine so I may actually re-think my decision sometimes soon.

Software used: Creature Creator Stand Alone 1.5, Zbrush 2, trueSpace 5.2 & 6.6, Poser 4&5 (And yes using poser and taking them into Zbrush to lower the poly count works great), 3D Canvas, and Milkshape 3D, and for 2d I'm still stuck on Micrografx Picture Publisher.

I have experience in fiddling with anything. I have no real strong points unless it is to edit an already existing model. Modelling something on my own takes me forever for some reason, but I am slowly learning, that's for sure. And I have aspirations to make some awesome games, but right now I'm more worried about doing proof of concepts on paper so I can work out everything first so when it comes to actually doing the game, I don't have to randomly think up stuff to put into it.
