3 Dimensional Chat / Is BSP still used?

Funny question, I just wondered if BSPwas still used or if there were other ways of handling things now. I havent seen BSP (well at least I havent been aware of it) since Half Life and Quake 3.

Half-Life 2 uses basically an enhanced version of thier original BSP, (actually it is almost literally the same format with a few extras)
Doom3 also uses a snazzy BSP format.

Generally speaking they're only good for indoor areas, and why Unreal 2X engine uses both Static Objects + BSP. As it is a powerful combination speedwise.

Most games still use the basic PVS principals though.
