Controls system and the game just generally seemed rushed, not polished enough. Was a good game; I think most of the public had unrealistic expectations though, same goes for the movies.
I'm so damn glad I ignored all of the hype for the movies.
Look at the difference between the Matrix Trilogy and Lord of the Rings; both were great high budget films... but you don't hear of anyone cept nerds saying it's untrue to the original story really bitching about the LOTR movies, but so many people were like "Oh Morpheus' speach in Reloaded was too long" and alike; the speech was like 40seconds, if that... the 'sex' scene was longer, but still was hardly onscreen for more than a minute before we were back to the story.
Only part of the films I felt did kinda outstay it's welcome was the smith scene, particularly when the music was feeling too repetitive and the CG was just ashamingly bad. The building people had done a bloody fantastic job, most don't even realise that is CG, but you then look at what was done in Softimage with Neo and Smith... bleck; the artists had no damn conception of how to actually use the Shader system or Mental Ray properly.
hell people expect more realism in the games than were in those characters!
