What happen? A blitz link? Yeah, Rich hasn't gotten around to fixing the google ads bar to not include blitz. I figure he will eventually get to it

Lol, this has been brought up many times

It's funny, when you have a topic about linux you end up with linux adverts!

Get 15 new commands, all the date / time commands left out of DBPro for free!
DBPTIME plugin available here:
http://www.davidtattersall.me.uk/ and select "DarkBasic"

Doesn't really matter. Unless I'm wrong, TGC won the DB-Blitz battle hands down a while back, and though Blitz still has a community, it isn't making many sales and it isn't getting any support.

The new developer network updates and beta downloads kick ass.

We've no problem with their AdWord appearing on the site to be honest, so no point in blocking it. Every time someone clicks it we get some of their money - so I don't see the issue really

They're far from being our biggest competitor.

Cheers,

Rich

I believe I'd be correct in saying that I think I would be right in saying that it is my humble opinion that it'd be a really stupid business move to say-- I think.

could be a number of companies...
Oddly I actually have a feeling that DBPs biggest competitor is Visual C++, I keep seeing thier names together in alot of online shops.

PureBASIC wouldn't be as they don't have a viable 3D Engine yet.
GameStudio A6 might be, but they're not exactly popular.
TrueVision perhaps? ... but the C-Script does put alot of newbies off.
DivGameStudio2 is pretty awesome and basic, so perhaps.

Really there are any number of products.
