This is a message to all forum goers. I am Wooly Mammoth Games, who is Lyle, not Chris (CMC). I started this new profile just because the fact that people would not give me a break even when I did stop posting. And no, I am not Z/Drumnology/Peter, and he will agree to that as well. Do not ban him, he has gotten a lot better as of late, and he was a good team member, and he does have decent coding skills. Ban me if you might, but I will continue to contribute the book to the community as well as help to newbies who need it.

There's no problem so large it can't be solved by killing the user off, deleting their files, closing their account and reporting their REAL earnings to the IRS.

Not yet, he is revising a lot of stuff......he said he will send it soon. I finished a game design section for the book as well that is 80 pages long.

@Z

You were banned for a reason - we're not being unfair, mods are here to make the forums a pleasant place for everyone. Spammers discourage experienced users from using the boards, something which I'm sure you appreciate is not desireable.

Why would some entirely different person register a new name, log on, and post a message saying: "Do not ban Z-Interactive, ban me instead!"

That kind of thing just makes me suspicious.

Just stop trying to pull this crap Chris, we know who you are and most of us know Z is not you. Leave and don't come back til you've grown up and are not ashamed to be who you really are.

But its the young ones who most likely have the least experience in programming, and therefore, need the forums the most.

Lets just try to remember these forums are for us to get support for TGC products, not play games with childish spammers. The easiest ways to shut down spammers is to ignore them.

You can get a pretty good free one with yahoo all for yourself.

I'm surprised that you didn't think of that easy solution, considering you already have a yahoo address.

It's amazing how these spammers get a new account so they can live aquiet life without being bassled. And look what names they choose:

"Phenomenon Gaming Studios"
"Wooly Mammoth Games"

Wow. How low-key.

Yeah, I don't like the fake company crap...

Especially when they throw in the word "Studios" -- typically when you use that term you actually have a studio...

And if you're going to use the term "Games", well, it's plural, so you should probably have a few completed games

Lol, I see my advice on a less noticable name has been heeded. It's now "Hoss".

Less than half an hour ago it was "L33t Sk8er H8er" I kid you not. Dunno why it keeps getting changed.

It would be good, if when they changed their name they change their ways as well. Let's hope this is the case with WMG. I think that he at least is interested in DB/DBpro. So I'm willing to give it a chance.

My only recomendation is to let it be subtle, and let your action on the boards speak louder than words. I'm sick of the "I'm leaving ", "I have changed", "It wasn't me", type posts. It's unecessary IMHO!

[edit] From the last few posts it seems like HOSS a.k.a WMG is doing well. Keep it up.
