actually technically both are wrong (cause niether word exists), because it should be said something along the lines of...

The post should've been copyright.

because there are only 2 varations on the word;
Copyright and Copyrights, noun and adjective. Unfortunately no passive tense. I just say written over righted because it sounds better when reading it through; Copyrighted sounds odd.

Well as CattleRustler says, copyrighted.
Word: Copyright -> copy right

"right" is either a noun, an adjective or a verb (transitive and also intransitive but has a different meaning then), past participle: "righted"
Therefore "copyrighted". Not that difficult.

No Copyright is a singular word, not 2 words.
As I said, I checked AskOxford; you have a problem with the english language that CattleRustlers words are *NOT* considered part of the English language by them, then go and take it up with them.

As I said, both variations are technically wrong... end of story.

American Heritage, Wordnet and Webster say it's a verb.
Adverbial complement is an interesting theory, but then again it's just 1 word.

Moonshine is the term given to homemade spirits; around where i grew up we used to call it Rocket Fuel.
Basically it's strong stuff (usually >80% proof); and usually most will leave you believeing your standing up when really you collapsed 20minutes ago.

your welcome to check Oxford if you want, and your also welcome to question them to why they don't list the words other dictionaries claim to exist.

As far as I'm conserned, they are the authority on the English Language; not Websters. After all they are *actually* English, not American, and the language is called English, not American or American Engilsh.

If they say a word doesn't exist, it doesn't officially exist.
So as I said: End Of Story!

Just because Oxford says a word doesn't exist, doesn't mean it DOESN'T EXIST! There are words that Webster doesn't know too. If you want one: Shuriken. Those are ninja stars
I can't check the Oxford dictionary because I don't have a subscription.

I agree with Raven that if it's not in the English dictionary, it's not a real English word. Anything else is just American slang.

entrepreneur is a French word but you can find it in almost every English dictionary.
The point is, just because it is not in the FREE online version of the Oxford dictionary, doesn't mean the word doesn't exist.

Katana's in Webster...That's Japanese tooThey also had some Yugoslavean(sorry if that's not spelled right) weapons before (don't ask for specifics, I just remember once I was flipping through it looking for weapon pictures and finding it)
