I've been waiting forever for someone to make sequel to Room Wars. I have a really awesome idea for it; now you protect this huge space station that's as big as a planet. You fly around, defeating all sorts of enemies. The levels would be way larger than the origional Room Wars, and it would include something to challenge your piloting skills: MULTIPLAYER! You guys tell me what you think of my idea, and maybe we can ask the maker of Room Wars to make a game like that.

Oh, wait! I forgot to mention one part of the dream; building and modifying your kickass ship!

Why not make it yourself?

The author did post the code a while back, mess around with that then make your own engine loosely based on it.

1. I am more of a consumer and friend and advisor to the makers of games, and
2., You have no idea how much I suck at making games.
3. The only thing that I could probably do for people is make textures, though I'm just starting out in that business.

You're probably right....would need to change the name to something like Galax Defender.

He posted it in DBPro Disc not too long after the compo - but IIRC it was featured in one of the newsletters.

I downloaded it(the code), and strangely, it doesn't work in DB pro for me.

Without hating, this world would be perfect.
