Right. Bought Gamespace recently (end of June)
Tried creating a small town for my characters to walk around in...

In gamespace it looks like

But when exported into DBpro as a .x scene (.x object give the same prob)

I see talk of a patch, but as I bought it in the end of June I should have the most recent version. Plus I see nowhere to get the patch on it's own anyway... any help will buy you my undying love D: or thanks at least...

What version of DBP are you using? Version 1.052 has a very nasty .X parser bug that implodes quad polys like that. It's been fixed in 1.054. Can you triangulate the model when you save it?

Hm, I have 1.05 perhaps that is the prob. I shall see to it...

Forgive my stupidity when I ask what triangulating means? D:

Triangulating is when you take a quad poly and change it to two triangles. It's something that the program should do for you since it would be very labor intensive to do it by hand.

I don't use GS, but what you would look for is an option to export as triangles.

Oh right, I see what you mean. I think it does do this automatically.

Eitherway, the upgrading to 1.054 seems to have done the trick for me anyhoo it's all working pretty niceley methinks... except the model is now without colour... i'm sure i'll work out what that's all about...

Many thanks to you sir

*edit* Collision seems to be not working on this model... very odd.

Sure, though i've not really got the problem fixed... just changed what the problem is

http://snow.prohosting.com/~tifu2000/Images/grey.JPG

Colours have vanished from the model, and if Blossom (the orange haired girl, if you don't know Powerpuffs) takes a step forward, she falls through the floor. I'd be thinking the problem is my code, but when I had the levels made in Cartography Shop, the collision was per... very good.
Collision problem confuses me :S

Hey it sounds like you need a colision model for the floor(in my exp in ut2003/2004 mod making with gamespace you needed to set up a colision model. I am not sure how dbp handels colision models)
keep the screenshots coming. I would like to see some stuff made with gamespace.

Well, I don't see why I would need a collision model :/
I had the game working fine when my levels were made in Cartography Shop. And that was the same. Just a big .x file...

Screenshots ey? Well I made this fellah for practice:
Ark - Terranigma
Have yet to understand texturing :p
