Hi guys.

I'm mainly posting here to show you what sort of reaction was had and to pass on the official apology from drums.com.

NocturnalSoul (admin of drums.com forums) posted the following in response to a complaint lodged by me on their forums:

Quote: "darkbasicman - On behalf of the Drums.com team, we sincerely apologize to you, your fellow forum members and your site, for this situation.

We don't tolerate any spamming, nor do we support any slandering of any other websites. While Drumology's intentions might have been admirable, from his point of view, to support a website he likes, we do not approve his actions.

From the link provided, I have come to the conclusion that this spamming was fueled by some sort of revenge for his banning on your forum. Drumology will be dealt with, i can assure you that.

Again, I sincerely apologize for any inconvience this may have cause you and your fellow forum members.

Noc - Drums.com Forums Moderator"

Kudos to him.

Here's a few comments left by other users:

drums_forum (Admin)
Quote: "I did not know that you spammed another site. That is very uncool, and unethical. I thought you emailed from your own mail list.
Never do something like this again. It only makes us look bad.
If you want other people to join, ask your friends, not emails from another site and people you do not know.
You are now being watched by all of our moderators. This an official warning.

I know your intentions were good for us, but no spamming."

The Oneā„¢
Quote: "I never spammed there message board. I just ask a lot of questions. And for the emailing sake, I'm sorry, I had sent 6-10 emails. All for my friends. I hope they all scanned there computer because that same day I found a worm in my computer but I removed it. So, sorry to all who recieved those emails."

(see, it was all a worm )

Quote: "ts people like drumnology that make other forums and sites look bad. what he did was stupid. i dont know why he hasnt been banned here yet for what was done. there are other ways to handle referrals to other sites and he knows exactly what he was doing."

Crap--- I keep trying to click those drums.com links and can't view them because I'm not registered :-P But yes, let's hope they don't let him get away with being mischevious for as long as we did.

No, Drumnology spammed a whole bunch of us (emailed a mass group of us) asking us to join Drums.com (which is infact spamming) And the admin is apologizing saying that what Drumnology did was wrong and they didnt condole his activity at all. He then tried to say he didnt spam....hahahaha.

If he were still here, I'd so block him right now.

That's just plain pathetic what he did.
And then to try and brush it off like nothing'd ever happened... That just makes me sad

Oh well, like goes on, hopefully without Drum/Z/CmC for a while.

Jess.
