Hi guys can you telm me where can i learn the basics of 3d studio max 4 or gmax?i wanted to learn specially the caracter designing part,its what matters most for me.Thanks
Note:i dont really know anything about 3d......

Yeah get the 3dbuzz videos,they're free and there's also Concept drawing vids which aren't that bad at all.(for the basics)

Download gMax from Discreet, also get the TUTORIAL help files and install those. Work through the gMax tutorials. They are extremely good.....I learnt pretty much everything I needed to know from them aside from texturing (which is actually pretty easy).
I mean jeez.....you might want to at least *pretend* you tried to look for yourself.
