... cos I'll listen to 'em by myself
today's music ain't got the same soul
I like da' old time rock and roll

Don't try 'n take me to a disco
You'll never even get me out on the floor!!
In 10 minutes I'll be late for the door
I like da' old time rock and roll

Still like da old time rock and roll
That kinda music just SOOTHES the soul ...
I'm a gonna miss it in the days a old
with that ol' time rock and roll

... (guitar solo) ...

THeres only one sure way
to get me to go
Just start playing ol' time rock and roll
Call me a heretic - call me what you will
Say I'm old fashioned - say I'm over da' hill
Today's music ain't got the same soul
I like da ol' time rock and roll

STILL like da ol' time rock and roll
That kinda music just soothes the soul
I kinda miss it from da days of old
With that ol' time rock and roll

... (saxophone solo) ...

YEAH! Rock on humans! And other bears! Yeah! Yeah!

Philip, back and here to rock on. Yeah! Woohoo! Yeah!

(more saxophone music + much dancing)

(Much ado with loud jam sandwich munching and greedy chomping noises)

Yum. Thanks Mr. Rustler Esq. In exchange for you I have, er, a large picture of Silvio Berlusconi... ? Er, not sure where that came from but you can have it anyway if you want.

Philip

And so Philip played his old time rock and roll.

And there was much rejoicing.

The menace of pop music was banished from the land, and with it went reality TV and z-list celebrities. Once again the land was pure and free from tyranny, and Philip the fantastical bear went on to open a small nail bar on the edge of town.
