Can Geoscape 3D allow me to use a sphere as terrrain? I want to make actual cyberplanets but I can't afford MojoWorld Editor just yet.

I would love to make a Terrain Program similar to Bryce 5 and also the Battelzone 2 Editor where I cut into land scape to make rivers or raise mountains and I can also place Mountain Models but I really need someone to help me.

So
1) Can Geoscape 3D use sphere's as terrain and , if not
2) Can someone teach me how I can make a 3D Landscape program like the one I have just mentioned?

Search the DBC board for magic world. A while ago a talented programmer gave away 10,000 lines of source.

Best to just dive in with the matrix commands though. Test them out and learn what they do. After that, make short-cuts learn how to use the mouse on a 3D world to raise terrain and just keep experimenting.

One problem with Magic World is that it only works with DBC (but with some tweaking it'll work in DBPro, I included my modified loader below).

Hope I helped! ~Underhill
