Hey

I was in work today when i was asked if i would like an amiga adn some old games in exchange for fixing some guys computer. Well i got that done and he gave me this amiga, moniter abd about 41 games!!!!

Its not worth alot i checked about £50 for the lot if im lucky so ill probably keep it. I was playing through some of the games when i came across fire and ice. One of the best platformers ever. It beats sonic and mario by far.

It stars cool coyote. The graphics are superb for an amiga game and the gameplay is fantastic.

Have you ever heard of this game. I hadnt until today. I recommend you look it up it is superb. I got it in its original box it even still has the original free poster inside

I played it a couple of times, there are some much better platform games on the Amiga. Try James Pond! That's great!

Robocod was great, I still play that today - such a novel idea having a bionic commando style body . Great graphics too.

I remember a developer diary of Fire and Ice in a magazine, you should have a look to see if it's been uploaded anywhere.

Yeah it was a good game - I liked the little colourful mini-map that scrolled along the bottom as you progressed through the zones. Wonderful graphics and gameplay, I'm sure it was a Graftgold game - all of their 16-bit titles rocked (as any who played Simulcra or Paradroid 90 will confirm). I also think it was their last commercial release before they went under.

Cheers,

Rich
