I'm getting soo tired of that group of AOL hackers hacking AOL. Hackers have been invading AOL chat room and thretening, harrasing, and hacking people. AOL just won't listen. It's as if they want them to hack!!

Does anyone know a site where i can report hackers?

Thanks. Ive tried searching up google, but i just couldn't find anything. Ive searched everywhere. I am getting so mad at AOL for doing nothing but sit back and watch the hackers hack away as much as they want.

Don't use AOL. Use a real ISP that cares about its customers.

AOL are crap and rip you off. there advertised 1mbit connection is actualy only 256kbit. i suggest blueyonder faster than bt(upto 3mbit) and better service(they dont blame all faults on watever they can thats not themselfs)

If their 1mbit connection is 256kbit then why aren't they sued for false advertising?

Because technically they are correct - its something like connecting to 1Mb network but limited at the users end or something...

I got hacked In AOL like 4-5 times. so i switched to MSN, and only have gotten hacked once.

-also, most hacks are from other accounts that have been hacked. once one is hacked they use a rigged version of AIM and use the hacked screen name to snag your passwords and then do the same thing to other people with your screen name. i dont know if its possible to report it. it will never end.

Go through a local ISP instead of a national one. Then you're less likely to get hacked.

Just like with ATT, they don't think they have a choice. And, it is all self-contained. You wouldn't believe it, but some people think that connecting to the internet with one desk-top icon and then opening up IE or NScape to browse is too hard! I work in customer serv for a telephone company that posts our bills online, so I have to deal a lot with people's connections, ISPs, etc. I try my damndest to get people to switch as much as I legally can. lol

Fraggles where quite the scary lot...

the words stupidity and technological illiteracy come to mind. I'm still shocked that there is an Austalian AOL. I only know one person that uses them though, and haven't seen them advertise. ever.

There is a place here called Westnet that does that, but they limit it at their end, so you get a 1.5Mbps connection to their servers. Which host games sometimes. 1.5Mbps connection to a game server. sw33tn355!

Also, i HATE AOL's security. Just the other day i almost got in trouble with an AOL hacker *gulp*, scared me. LOL.

Oyah and BarCoder, your right. The hacker hacked my friends account and then i think saw my s/n on his buddylist and hacked mine and then saw my friend's screen name and hacked his and so on. Like a chain of hacking attempts. LOL, confusing

A.O.L stands for something like backsides OnLine, basicaly people get sucked in by the free 3 months offers and that nice lady on the adverts (just requires your credit details) and then find it`s impossible to cancel cos E-mails get ignored and the wait time on the Phone is something like three days continuous trys to get through, and then whoever you reach can`t cancel your account (was on the BBC watchdog program..AOL said they where not aware nobody could get through to cancel and it must just be some unusual isolated incidents... ), I heard horror stories from several people who tried to get OFF an AOL account, it`s like selling your soul, you can sign on the dotted line easy enough, but backing out is almost Impossible, they aint a real ISP anyway, they have a limited subset of the net that their servers can access, their policy prevents you accessing lots of stuff considered "unsuitable" by the AOL censors (and like most self proclaimed guardians of morality they have problems with "demarkation").
