there is a DarkBASIC command for it : 3DS2X "yourfile.3ds", "yourfile.x"

in the command yourfile.x is where you want the exported file right?

Well, I give an example :

You have a model : dog.3ds
You want this model as a .x file ?

Then you have to create a darkbasic file in the same directory, with following content :



And it's done

dark basic does ecept that command but it does not write a .x file in the folder.

hmmm, strange .... are you sure the .dba file and the .3ds file is in the same folder ?
