3 Dimensional Chat / should I upgrade to lightwave 8.0?

Hi all, just wondering if I should upgrade to lightwave 8.0 and seeing what other people have experienced. My biggest problems with lightwave 7.5 were as follows (in priority order):

1. Exporting from lightwave to .x fully animated/boned characters
2. Texture baking, for lightmapping and object texturing using lightwave surface presets
3. Rendering speed(not related to darkbasic)

If any of you out there have 8.0 please tell me if Newtek improved apon these items. thanks again

I hear it's suppose to add lots of improvements on animation. Never used Lightwave before though, so hopefully that's good news.
