I've created my second DLL. This is one that allows you to compress and de-compress files on the fly in a Darkbasic Pro application. You could use it for resources and media.

Also, the installer is new as well. Let me know if it works Okay.

Here's a link for the archive DLL :-

Check out my website for the installer if ya want it, It's a very simple and cut down self extractor basically.

Has to be said that the TPC Installer made by David T is ten times mroe flexible than mine, I freely admit it. That said, I couldn't get it working so I made my own and slammed it on my site for other people who don't need much. Plus the exe overhead on The TPC Install maker is <200kb.

As for posting to the wrong group, I apologise, but I thought that this was a DarkBasic Pro specific list and since this dll is for DarkBasic Pro Only...

What the dll or the TPC Installer? just so I know for future, because I wasn't really announcing the installer, it's just a toy?

But if I have to announce th dll's elsewhere then I will in future, don't want to annoy anyone

Regardless of what forum this should be in,.....

Thanks Siege1975, I've been patiently waiting for TGC to release the ZIP plugin that the americans got over a year ago with no joy. This is a great tool that will really help me out.

Keep up the good work

The Coding Area :-

Thanks I'll remember in future.

BealziBob:-

Glad you like it, but this doesn't do zip files it just uses zlib compression techniques. I could do a dll that supports the InfoZIP DLL though if anyone is interested?

Siege:-

Sorry sometimes people with simular nicks end up in the same place. That's why I tagged my YOB on the end, minimises the chances of a mix up.

If you started programming when you joined (on my birthday), then you learn really fast! The download link won't work, it says file not accessible.
