Mathematically there are an infinite number of dimensions. As far as physical dimensions go, String Theory shows that there are either ten or twenty-one dimensions, four of which exist as we see them now, and the others rolled up into an extremely small space. The mathematics support the physical laws only in those two instances but ten seems most probable.
As far as disproving, many things have been disproven but people believe what they want to because they have a
need to believe. I had a sister-in-law who believed the Earth was flat and that everyone was being fooled by the scientists and the government for some strange twisted plot. Many things have been disproven and people continue to believe weird things otherwise their fragile, make-believe world collapses. I prefer reality.
This has sparked an idea. Has anyone tried any four dimensional graphics yet with Dark Basic? I've seen wireframe hypercubes rotating on a computer before back during the early nineties.
