Hey, can someone tell me where I could download some "grunt" sounds (male)for free. Basicaly, I need a sound for when my player punches, and I don't really have anything that suits it. Thanks!

umm not free, but look out for "6000 sound effects" on the budget rack (published by cosmi) lots of effects and copyright free for games etc, cost £9 IIRC, just looked and it has some effects that may be of use to you.

I'll check out the disk in a bit and post if I can find grunting on the disk. (Me, I'd just grab a microphone and give it a go.)

There are a few grunts on the disk, but there is not enough variety for a game. But then, if you import them into your favorite sound editor your can shift frequencies and such to make it match your needs.

Alternatively, windows comes with a sound recorder so if you have a microphone ... get grunting!

If you don't have a 'mic' I will be happy to record myself in various grunting scenarios for you
Some people would pay a lot of money for that
